Ivar joined Allton as Executive Member of the Board in 2024.
A Geophysicist, Ivar has experienced a career of over forty years in the oil and gas industry. He was the CEO and Executive Vice President Business Development at Magseis Fairfield. Prior to that, he held several management positions with marine geophysical service companies, including at Geo-Prakla, PGS and Wavefield Inseis.
Ivar obtained his M.Sc. (Geophysics and Seismology) from the University of Oslo.
Nils joined Allton as CEO in 2025. He has held several senior positions in finance and capital markets including Vice President at Credit Suisse, Assistant Vice President at Citi, and Director at RBC Capital Markets. After pivoting his career to the oil and gas industry, Nils has held a number of CFO positions including SeaBird Exploration and more recently as CEO and CFO at Aquila Holdings.
Nils holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Wharton School.
Thomas first joined Allton as a Planner / Project Controller in 2008 but was quickly promoted to Group Controller that same year before being appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2010.
Prior to working in the oil and gas industry, he started his career as a Component Planner with Heli-One. He has held a number of volunteer positions and has an interest in local politics, being elected to the Stavanger City Council and serving on the Administration and Finance Committee for the Stavanger Municipality (2007 – 2011).
Thomas holds a M.Sc. in Business (Specialisation in Innovation) from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, and a B.Sc. in Business (Finance) from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, CA, USA.
Aleks first joined Allton in 2019 as Supply Chain & Asset Manager. After proving his worth across engineering and project management in the development of Allton’s hardware solutions, Aleks was promoted to CTO in 2025.
Prior to joining Allton, Aleks worked at Baker Hughes PPS Norway.
Dag joined Allton as QHSE Director in 2019 and subsequently took on the additional role of HR Director. He is now the VP QHSE. Skilled in management systems and risk- and change management, he developed and implemented an integrated Operating Management System based upon the OGP 510 framework and obtained ISO certification in accordance with the 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
A certified auditor, risk manager and lead investigator, Dag has held several senior QHSE positions as Director and Vice President in oil and gas companies including SeaBird Exploration, Technip, and Aker BioMarine.
Dag holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Operations from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy in Bergen.
Steinar joined Allton in 2025 as VP Operations. With over forty years in the oil and gas industry, he has held several senior management positions including VP Operations & Technology at CGG Veritas, and Operations Manager at Magseis Fairfield and TGS.
Steinar holds a B.Sc. from the Royal Norwegian Airforce Technical Academy.
